The brisket sandwich was SO good! We have eaten BBQ all over the country. This may have been the tastiest brisket we've ever eaten. Service was very quick. Prices were very reasonable, especially for BBQ.

Rowdy's Smokehouse is the best this side of Texas! They have a tender selection of slow-smoked brisket, pork, and chicken - all served various ways. The sides are to die for - try the potato salad and coleslaw! They are extremely attentive to any food concerns and all portions are huge. The atmosphere is alive and upbeat with live music, patio seating, and a cornhole game. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. Best to arrive early as it gets crowded quickly in the evenings!
The food is always good and the staff polite and friendly. Patient due to it is hard to decide from all the available menu items. You order when you walk in. The seating is scattered throughout and also has available covered outdoor eating area. The decor is quirky and wry country. There is a bar area to eat also.
A coworker and I were traveling through the area and seen Rowdys Smokehouse. The service was fantastic and quick. Way quicker than we both expected. After ordering, we had our food within five to ten minutes. And the place was busy for lunch! To top it off, the quality of the food was top notch. They only had one choice of BBQ sauce at the table but have had more if we had asked. Definitely recommend!
I will say the environment somewhat lives up to the name. Very lively place. I was most impressed with the brisket, which was smoked to perfection, juicy and fatty just like it should be. Wouldn't surprise me if the owner was a Texan. I also had a rack of ribs, and they were equally delicious. Green beans and cheesy taters for sides and unsurprisingly, delicious. I wouldn't mind coming back some time without the kids to enjoy the bar which appears fully stocked. I'll have to leave a separate review and hopefully I don't get a chair broken over my head. We were here 5:30 - 7pm. It was busy when we arrived, but were still able to find a table. Highly recommend.
